ITINERARY

Day 1 - Friday

Arrival in Kayseri airport. Transfer to the Museum Hotel in the evening and check in. After freshening up, have dinner and meet the chef of the hotel who will give you the cooking courses. Discuss the dishes you will learn for the following days and engage in the preparation of next day’s lesson.


Overnight Museum Hotel - Cappadocia

Day 2 - Saturday

 

 

After breakfast, you will have the first cooking lesson in the hotel. With the assistance and guidance of the Chef, you will learn how to cook some of the traditional “Tandir” dishes of the area, which are cooked in a pit-like oven. After lunch, we’ll go to visit the Open-Air Museum in Göreme or go hiking in the gorgeous Red valley. After this sightseeing, we shall return to the Hotel for dinner and a good rest.


Overnight Museum Hotel - Cappadocia

Day 3 - Sunday

Today you will have your second cooking lesson, after breakfast in the hotel. You will learn the easy way of preparing perfect Turkish appetizers and soups. Then check out and take off to visit the little town of Avanos to see the pottery workshop, and also to procure a supply of various earthenware pots and bowls. You will need these at home when you get back, to  try your cooking skills at the dishes you've learned about in Cappadocia. Then you will be transferred to the Kayseri airport for your return flight.
